Microsoft's September 2026 API release notes add reporting fields and campaign-management options, and list Advertising SDK version 13.0.30 as published on September 29, 2026. The update extends asset-group support, LinkedIn targeting and bulk operations. Several additions build on interfaces that Microsoft introduced in August, including the search-term landing-page report.
For search-term reporting, Microsoft adds HeadlineSource to the columns available through SearchTermLandingPageReportRequest, which it introduced in August. Applications using that report can request the new field alongside its existing columns. The September change extends the information returned through the existing report request.
For LinkedIn targeting, Microsoft expands client coverage for GetLinkedInSegments, an interface introduced in August alongside CustomLinkedInCriterion. September's additions also include the GetCompanyListDetails operation and a JobTitle value in campaign criterion types. Developers can use the company-list operation to retrieve details of a list, while the new criterion value represents job-title targeting in campaign configuration.
Microsoft adds asset-group and ad identifiers to the asset performance report's available columns. Campaign-management requests for retrieving, updating and deleting keywords gain support for asset-group IDs, and a separate operation retrieves keywords by asset group. Applications can use these identifiers to specify the asset group involved in a keyword request and identify groups in performance reports.
Bulk operations expand as well. Microsoft's September section includes mappings for company lists and their items, with audience size on company lists and company names on individual items. The entities available for download also include company lists, company items, ad-group URL targets and ad-group AI prompt associations. An additional bulk mapping covers the prompt associations themselves.
Microsoft also expands campaign-management models for objective-based campaigns and unified campaign fields. Page-feed settings gain coverage for feed identifiers, while brand-exclusion settings include a product-ad opt-out field. In the customer-management API, developers gain the RON currency value for the Romanian leu.
The import model has its own changes. New Google import options address importing and updating new-customer-acquisition settings, updating asset groups, and updating search themes for existing asset groups. Microsoft links the September SDK entry to notes for .NET, Java, Python and PHP REST implementations. The preceding SDK, 13.0.29, is dated August 4 in the same official history.
